Charitable Trust was set up in the year 1980 with the following
objectives:

promote educational institutions. Keeping pace with the latest
advancements in educational technology.

To promote the well- being
of humanity by assisting the growth and development of a formal
education through training programmes. Research and human resource
development.

To support and promote
institutions and programmes to address social and economic disparties
and provide assistance to the poor and deserving.
|

To give stipends,
scholarships, traveling allowances and monetary aid to deserving
students and teachers to support their academic pursuits.
|
|
|

|
To promote value education,
scientific temper, cultural and environmental awareness among the
students through curricular and non-curricular studies and projects.
|
|
|

|
To encourage the development
of the all round personalities of students by laying emphasis on
academics, sports, extra curricular and social activities.

EDUCATION

SCHOOLS

The
trust has set up a public school, Banyan Tree School at Lodhi Road with
a strength of more than 1600 students. The trust is also imparting Non
Formal Education to the street children and the girls and women of the
nearby slums colonies of Lodhi road for the last seven years. Presently
this education is given to over 200 children. These students are not
only provided with free education, but also given free educational kits
compromising of books and stationary.

Sanatan Sangeet
Sanskriti

Sanatan
Sangeet Sanskriti was established by Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable
Trust in the year 1993 to promote and encourage music, dance and other
arts for the sake of harmony, unity and world peace. It is a platform
that enables people to learn and appreciate art.

|
The
Sanskriti has constituted 2 national Awards to be presented annually to
artists in different categories.
|
|
|
These awards are called
Sanatan Sangeet Samman and Sanatan Sangeet Puraskar.
|
|
|
Sanatan Sangeet Samman is to
honour a senior artist for his/her personal excellence and outstanding
contributions to the Indian Classical Music/Dance. The Sanatan Sangeet
Puraskar is to honour a talented artist in recognition of his/her
talent and potential for excellence.
|
|
|
|
From
the year 2006, the Sanskriti has also been awarding the Sanatan
Kalakriti Puraskar to a selected artist for his / her contribution in
the field of painting / sculpture.
